We're looking for a Machine Learning Product Developer to:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain practical and custom machine learning solutions for commercial client products.
• Productionize machine learning solutions in combination with knowledge of UBS products, processes, systems, people, and corresponding data flows.
• Interact with clients and technology stakeholders.
• Prioritize opportunities with operational headwinds.
• Validate and test model outputs.
• Support execution together with business.

You'll be working in the Group Finance Corporate team in Nashville, TN.

Your expertise
 
Education & Experience Requirement

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in finance, engineering, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as a Developer, Equity & Commodity Derivatives Sales Intern,

Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable) 

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in finance, engineering, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Developer, Equity & Commodity Derivatives Sales Intern, or a related occupation in lieu of master's degree and 3 years of experience.

Position requires experience with the following: 

• financial markets and banking products, including their applications and industry practices;
• advanced model development and machine learning, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance models and algorithms using Python;
• advanced programming in Python, design of web applications using Django, software engineering practices, including system architecture, scalable code design, and performance optimization;
• programming in production environments, including CI/CD pipelines, PostgreSQL, Pyspark and Databricks;
• configuration of UNIX servers using RHEL7. Can work remotely.
