 SteerBridge Strategies, a Veteran-led small business, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to drive technical delivery across enterprise data and system modernization initiatives. Based at our headquarters in Tysons Corner (Vienna, VA), this role supports the development of secure, scalable platforms that surface structured medical and service-related evidence for high-stakes adjudication processes.

 What You’ll Do:
 
 As a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of digital tools that unify and structure large volumes of clinical, diagnostic, and service data. You will:
 
 Lead Agile development teams through sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives, and releases
 
 Drive systems integration across cloud-native environments and enterprise platforms
 
 Coordinate stakeholder requirements and align deliverables with regulatory and compliance standards
 
 Develop tools that enhance the visibility, accuracy, and context of evidence used in claims processing
 
 Ensure platform interoperability, security, and scalability through technical oversight and team coordination
 
 Interface with enterprise systems and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
 
 Guide the implementation of AI/ML and rules-based engines for automation and decision support
 
 Foster a high-performing team culture with strong Agile leadership and continuous improvement practices
 
 Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance

15+ years of IT project or program management experience, including 5+ years supporting public sector or healthcare-related programs

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field

Strong background in Agile methodologies and managing technical teams across the SDLC

Experience with structured data workflows, metadata management, and systems modernization

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Familiarity with enterprise tools including Jira, Confluence, and GitLab

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Background in health informatics or digital transformation initiatives

Knowledge of clinical data standards and ontologies (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC)

Experience integrating structured and unstructured data in modern cloud environments
