The College of the Environment Finance and Accounting Service Team (eFAST) has an outstanding opportunity for a Fiscal Specialist 1.

Would you like to learn how to plan and pay for travel for groups of researchers who may work in foreign locations or on vessels? Do you want to learn skills that you can transfer to other universities or units at the University of Washington? Look no further than the newly formed College of the Environment Financial Shared Services Team (eFAST).
We are looking for a motivated and talented professional to join us as a full time position. This entry-level position in the Dean's Office allows candidates to gain experience with developing a shared service model, learn or strengthen skills using Workday Financials and ServiceNow (UWCONNECT), explore higher education administration, and work with a dynamic team during the University's transition from a 30-year-old financial system.
The Fiscal Specialist 1 will support the financial operations of the College of the Environment by processing daily requests for the acquisition of goods and services and supporting complex travel arrangements. This position will report to the Director of Finance and will provide support to both the procurement and supply chain pillar.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Center and Account Reconciliation (Monthly) 20%
Travel and Expense Activities 50%
Procurement of Goods and Services 20%
Tier 1 Customer Support 10%
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Two years of experience providing administrative support in the area of fiscal and/or business management or equivalent education/experience.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
