Our client, a nationally recognized and fully-integrated Developer / GC, is seeking an experienced Assistant PM to come on board and help lead a luxury university housing project in Baton Rouge.
 
 Project Details: Demo and rebuild | 250-units | 5-story Wrap / Podium | Concrete parking deck

• Provide project management assistance through completion of projects on time and under budget
• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential
• Help create, review, negotiate, and works with the project team to process the meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and requests for information
• Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
• Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget
• Develop a thorough understanding of the details of the project
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions

 National Developer / GC seeking an APM onsite in Baton RougeLeverage local knowledge to make an impact

• 3+ years of experience in Construction Management
• Experience in Baton Rouge and knowledge of local ordinances
• Multifamily background is required, podium and wrap experience is preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field recommended
• Team player with a positive and driven attitude
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
• Desire to further career as a Project Manager

They are in need of a competent Assistant Project Manager with experience in Baton Rouge who can help with RFI's, Submittals, close out, 3rd party reports, OAC meetings, and field reports. This individual should be driven and desire a career in the industry.
